Is Arko Care ready for ABDM?
Arko Care is ABDM-ready: health records are structured to FHIR R4. ABHA ID creation, Health Locker and Consent Manager integrations are not available today — they follow as those standards settle. We make no certification claim.
What AI features does Arko Care offer?
Arko Care is built AI-native — the consultation screen is built around an AI assistant working alongside the doctor. That assistance is in build now and rolls out with our next hospitals. AI suggestions assist qualified medical staff and never replace clinical judgment.
Can Arko Care handle laboratory and pharmacy management?
Not today. Both the Laboratory and Pharmacy modules are in build now and roll out with our next hospitals. What is live today is the OPD: registration, queue, consultation, prescription and billing.
How does Arko Care handle billing?
OPD billing is live: itemised invoices, cash, card and UPI recorded at the desk, and a Day Close view showing expected versus collected money split by payment mode. Consultation by a clinical establishment is a GST-exempt healthcare service, so no tax is added to an OPD bill. TPA pre-authorisation and cashless claim processing are not available today.
Does Arko Care work offline?
No. Arko Care runs in the browser and needs an internet connection. It is hosted on Google Cloud in their Mumbai region, so there is no server to run or maintain in your building and your data stays in India.
