How NN Hospital, Jamui runs on Arko Care

NN Hospital in Jamui, Bihar runs its outpatient department on Arko Care, our hospital management software, under its own name. It has been live since June 2026. This is how a day at the hospital runs on it, told by its two doctors: Dr. Nehal Ahmed, a surgeon, and Dr. Sadaf Nehal, an obstetrician and gynaecologist.

Before

From paper registers to one system

“Before Arko, our OPD ran on paper registers and loose receipts. Now every patient is registered once with a permanent ID, joins the token queue, is seen and is billed in one system. At Day Close I can see exactly what was collected — cash apart from UPI, refunds already taken off — without asking anyone at the desk. And every screen, prescription and invoice carries NN Hospital's name, not a software company's.”

Every day

A day in the OPD at NN Hospital

What the hospital uses, from the first patient at the desk to the last rupee counted.

At the front desk

A walk-in is registered once and keeps the same patient ID on every visit. They join the token queue the desk works through, and the consultation fee is taken in cash, by card or by UPI, with a receipt number.

In the consultation room

The doctor writes the consultation in the system. The prescription prints on NN Hospital's letterhead, and one tap opens WhatsApp with it ready to send to the patient. Each doctor's most-prescribed medicines sit as one-tap chips.

At billing

Every bill is tied to the visit and the doctor. Returning patients inside a doctor's follow-up window are charged the follow-up rate automatically.

At Day Close

The day ends with the money actually collected — cash counted apart from UPI, refunds already taken off — and patients who were waived or discounted shown under what is still owed.

The doctor's view

“I write the consultation in Arko and the prescription prints on our own letterhead. The medicines I prescribe most are one tap away, so I'm not typing the same names all day. With one more tap the prescription goes to the patient on WhatsApp, so nobody loses their parchi. My time goes to the patient, not to paperwork.”

“Many of my patients come back again and again during pregnancy. Arko knows when a visit falls inside the follow-up window and charges the follow-up rate on its own, so the desk never has to argue with a patient about the fee.”

Running the hospital

The owner's view

“We don't have an IT department, and we didn't need one. Each staff member has their own login that shows only what their role needs, each doctor's fee and follow-up rate is set once, and every change to a patient record is logged. I know who did what.”

Dr. Nehal AhmedSurgeon (MBBS, MS, FIAGES, FMAS)NN Hospital, Jamui

“Patients see NN Hospital on the prescription, the receipt and the invoice. Arko works in the background; our hospital is the name in front.”

That is what white-label hospital management software means in practice: NN Hospital has its own web address, nnhospital.arko.care, and its name and logo on every screen and every page that leaves the building. The full feature list shows what is live today and what is still on the way.

Twenty minutes, on your screen: a walk-in registered, a prescription on your own letterhead, and the day’s billing closed.
